About Hill-Rom Canada
Hill-Rom Canada had its beginnings in the 1940s when it was then known as Dominion Metalware Industries (DMI) which was a manufacturer of military parts supporting efforts in WWII. After the war, DMI shifted to manufacturing office furniture and by the 1960s, started to manufacture manual hospital beds and furniture. Hillenbrand Industries acquired DMI in 1972 and officially changed the name to Hill-Rom Canada in 1988. Today, Hill-Rom Canada’s head office is located in Mississauga, Ontario and has service centers spread across Canada.
